TO ACCEPT THE GENEROUS GIFT OF TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM JACOR BROADCASTING COMPANY FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE D.A.R.E. PROGRAM

Body

WHEREAS, a very generous gift has been donated to the City of Gahanna for use by the Gahanna Police Department in their D.A.R.E. Program;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That this Council hereby accepts the gift of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) and, on behalf of the Gahanna Police Department and residents and officials of the City of Gahanna, extends sincerest gratitude to JACOR BROADCASTING COMPANY, 1301 Dublin Road, Columbus, for the generosity of this donation.

Section 2.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
