TO HONOR AND COMMEND STEVE MONTGOMERY

WHEREAS, STEVE MONTGOMERY is a former wrestling coach at Gahanna Lincoln High School; and
WHEREAS, STEVE MONTGOMERY has been a wrestling official for 19 seasons and was voted Official of the Year in the Central District in 1995 and 2000; and
WHEREAS, STEVE MONTGOMERY was selected for the Montanaro Award in 1995 and 1998, for his contribution to the sport, and has been a head timer and scorer at the state championships for 19 years; and
WHEREAS, STEVE MONTGOMERY was inducted into the Ohio Wrestling Officials and Coaches Hall of Fame on March 3, 2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That on behalf of this Council, the Administration and the citizens of Gahanna, STEVE MONTGOMERY is hereby honored and commended on his induction into the Ohio Wrestling Officials and Coaches Hall of Fame.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
