TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH J.D. EQUIPMENT, INC., FOR PURCHASE OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT FOR THE PARKS, GOLF COURSE, STREETS AND WATER & SEWER DEPARTMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Parks, Golf Course, Streets, and Water & Sewer Departments are all in need of equipment to keep operations running smoothly; and
WHEREAS, the City is able to purchase the equipment off the State bid list, Contract MAC29E/515-90-01;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with J.D. Equipment, Inc., 1660 US Rt. 42 NE, London, Ohio 43140, for purchase of equipment as described in Exhibit A, in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding was set aside in the 2002 Appropriations in the following accounts to cover the herein costs:
101.431.5515 Capital Projects/Equipment, Parks & Recreation $7,850
101.433.5512 Capital Projects/Equipment, Golf Course 2,900
220.330.5512 Capital Projects/Equipment, Streets 3,200
661.360.5512 Cap.Eq. Water/661.360.5512 Cap. Eq. Sewer 2,500
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval the Mayor.
