TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH RENT A JOHN PORTABLE SANITATION, A DIVISION OF BJ EQUIPMENT, LTD., FOR THE 2006 SEASON; FOR 8 PORTABLE RESTROOMS FOR VARIOUS PARKS

WHEREAS, portable sanitation needs have been established for various parks during the 2006 season; and
WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received from Rent A John and the Director of Parks & Recreation has recommended we proceed with them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Rent A John Portable Sanitation, a division of BJ Equipment, LTD., P.O. Box 753, Columbus, Ohio, 43216 for eight (8) Rent A John portable restrooms to be placed in various City parks, in accordance with City specifications and proposal attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($4,300) was appropriated in the 2006 Appropriations to Account No. 101.431.5241, Parks Service Contracts, to cover the herein costs.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
