HONORING AND COMMENDING MARK SANTO
Body
WHEREAS, MARK SANTO began work as an independent contractor for the City of Gahanna on Friday, April 1, 1983; and
WHEREAS, one and one-half years thereafter, MARK SANTO became an employee of the City as its Superintendent of Parks; and
WHEREAS, MARK SANTO has steadily administered the many facets of Gahanna's parks and open space system, which grew tremendously during his tenure; and
WHEREAS, MARK SANTO has announced his intent to leave the City very soon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That MARK SANTO is commended for his diligence and professionalism in overseeing and manicuring the park and open spaces in the community--always conscious of the ecology, pleasure, and beauty that is derived from properly cared for leisure areas.
Section 2. That MARK SANTO is complimented and honored for his integrity and business-like completion of the many jobs he was asked to undertake during his employment, for his honesty and frank approach to problem areas, and for his kindness to fellow employees.
Section 3. That MARK SANTO is extended the heartfelt thanks of this Council and Administration for his labor of love as Superintendent of Parks and his many hours and responsibilities shouldered--many far beyond the call of duty.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
