TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH MID OHIO GOLF CAR FOR GOLF CAR RENTAL FOR THE 2002 SEASON; GAHANNA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE.

WHEREAS, letter quotes for golf car rental have been received from three companies and the Director of Parks & Recreation is recommending the lowest, most responsible and responsive quote to Council to proceed with rental of golf cars for the 2002 season;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with Mid Ohio Golf Car, 2333 Hebron Road, Heath, Ohio 43056 for twenty five (25) 1999 Yamaha golf cars with bag racks and sun tops, for the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course, in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($16,375) was appropriated in the 2002 Appropriations to Account No. 1101.433.5427, Car Rental, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council, and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
