TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MICHAEL GREENBERG FOR VOLUNTEER WORK AS A MEMBER OF THE 2006 CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION.

WHEREAS, every five years, the Charter of the City of Gahanna, Ohio, requires the appointment of a seven member commission to review the existing Charter and to make recommendation to Council; and
WHEREAS, MICHAEL GREENBERG was appointed to this short-term, volunteer position by the Mayor; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate and desirable by this Council to honor MICHAEL GREENBERG for his service to the community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the residents of Gahanna, hereby commend MICHAEL GREENBERG and offer sincerest appreciation to him for faithful attendance and diligent service as a member of the 2006 Charter Review Commission.
Section 2. That it is further recognized that MICHAEL GREENBERG made immeasurable contributions to the work of the commission through his expertise and he is encouraged to continue his interest in governmental affairs.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
