TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH GEORGE PARKER FOR CONTINUING SERVICES ON THE PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF CREEKSIDE.

WHEREAS, the Department of Development has recommended that we enter into a contract with George Parker for continuing services on the planning and architectural design of Creekside; and
WHEREAS, this contract is not to exceed $6,000 and funds are available in the 2002 appropriations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with GEORGE PARKER & ASSOCIATES, 106 Short Street, Gahanna, OH 43230, for continuing services on the planning and architectural design of Creekside, as outlined in EXHIBIT A attached hereto.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS ($6,000) has been set aside to Account No. 101.343.5253, Planning, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this legislation shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
