RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION'S INVOLVEMENT WITH DEVELOPMENT OF CREEKSIDE.

WHEREAS, the private developer RFP's have been received by the Department of Development and a presentation was made to CIC; and
WHEREAS, the CIC has made several recommendations to Council including that CIC take responsibility for the Creekside Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has stated that CIC was formed to undertake this kind of project; and
WHEREAS, the administration does concur with the role CIC wishes to play in the developing and redeveloping of Creekside;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Gahanna City Council supports the Community Improvement Corporation moving forward in analyzing and reviewing the Creekside proposals and bringing forth a complete analysis to Council for consideration and authorization as well as negotiating development agreements in phases and bringing back to Council a complete package with corresponding financial information.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council.
