TO HONOR AND COMMEND JOHN HURD FOR SERVICE ON THE BOARD OF ZONING AND BUILDING APPEALS AND THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

WHEREAS, JOHN HURD, wanted to serve the people of Gahanna in any capacity needed; and
WHEREAS, JOHN HURD, was appointed to the Civil Service Commission on January 2, 1994, where he served until June 20, 1995; and
WHEREAS, JOHN HURD, was appointed to the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals on June 21, 1995, where he has served until his move out of state; and
WHEREAS, JOHN HURD, served on both the Civil Service Commission and the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals with great dedication and integrity, and will be missed by all those who have had the pleasure to work with him:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration do hereby honor and commend JOHN HURD for service to the City of Gahanna and wish him well in all of his future endeavors.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council.
