TO REQUEST THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, PROFILES, AND AN ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EXTENSION OF THE LARRY LANE SANITARY SEWER ALONG EAST JOHNSTOWN ROAD.

WHEREAS, a letter signed by the resident of 510 East Johnstown Road requesting a sanitary sewer extension to their property on an assessment basis has been received by the Director of Public Service; and
WHEREAS, it is the goal of the City of Gahanna to provide sanitary sewer infrastructure to all occupied properties; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it appropriate to proceed to request preparation of plans, specifications, profiles, and an estimate of cost for proposed sanitary sewer extension in accordance with Section 727.12 of the Ohio Revised Code; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the City Engineer is hereby requested to prepare plans, specifications, profiles and a cost estimate for the construction of an extension of the sanitary Larry Lane sanitary sewer along East Johnstown Road.
Section 2. That, in accordance with Section 727.12 of the Ohio Revised Code, said plans, specifications, profiles, and cost estimates shall be filed with the Clerk of Council.
Section 3. That this Statutory Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
