Title
TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO AWARD AND THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH DOVE BUILDING SERVICES FOR MUNICIPAL COMPLEX CLEANING
Body
WHEREAS, bids were received September 11, 1998 for cleaning of the Gahanna Municipal Complex, and a previously recommended bidder has withdrawn from the bidding process; and
WHEREAS, Dove Building Services is now the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder and is being recommended by the Director of Public Service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to award and the Mayor is authorized to enter into Contract with DOVE BUILDING SERVICES, 1691 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, for cleaning of the Municipal Complex, as outlined in the attached Bid Tabulation, EXHIBIT A, hereto.
Section 2. That funding for this work will be set aside in the 1999 Appropriations in the amount of Forty-one Thousand Four Dollars ($41,0004) to Account No. 101.141.5453, Cleaning Contract, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
