TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THE WATER AND SEWER REVENUE ACCOUNTS TO THE WATER AND SEWER EXPENSE ACCOUNTS.

WHEREAS, the City’s water meters are automatically read and the readings transmitted to our billing system; and
WHEREAS, the City has shifted the data handling of this function from an on-site server to a hosted solution; and
WHEREAS, in the transition, the fee was paid to Sensus instead of HD Supply and we have now received the reimbursement check from Sensus that was deposited into our water and sewer revenue accounts; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service is requesting the funds be shifted from the revenue accounts to the Tech Maintenance expense accounts to be used for future projects; and
WHEREAS, to move the funds to the appropriate accounts requires supplemental appropriations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the following supplemental appropriations are hereby authorized as listed in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That ORD-0163-2014, passed December 15, 2014, is hereby amended to reflect these supplemental appropriations.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
