WHEREAS, the Community Improvement Corporation wishes to purchase property at 181 Granville Street where their offices are located; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed to provide for the down payment for this purchase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($200,000) is hereby transferred from Account 101.140.5596, Service, Capital Projects to Account 101.354.5455, CIC, Miscellaneous Expenses.
Section 2. As an express condition for the acceptance of the $200,000 by the Community Improvement Corporation, that body agrees to grant to the City of Gahanna an unrestricted perpetual easement on the 181 Granville Street property; said easement shall be received by the City within 60 days after the closing on the subject property.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this transfer of funds.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
