WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has six geographically placed outdoor warning sirens that adequaltely provide coverage for the City; and

WHEREAS, we are currently in the process of replacing the oldest siren, and of the other five, three need to be upgraded from the original 3000 model to the newer 4000 model siren;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That funding in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.215.5267, Emergency Management, Emergency Services.

Section 2.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
