AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF GAHANNA BUILDING AND ZONING FEE SCHEDULE.

WHEREAS, the Administration proposes to modify the Building & Zoning Fee Schedule to account for fees associated with rental registration and nuisance code appeals; and
WHEREAS, rental registration fees were revised to simplify fee calculation and to align the fees more closely with the amount of work associated with the inspection process; and
WHEREAS, the fee for nuisance code appeals aligns with appeals to the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals for single-family residential districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Building and Zoning Fee Schedule is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
