TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A GENERAL WARRANTY DEED FOR THE TRANSFER OF PROPERTY AT 960 BRICKLAWN AVENUE TO REKLAMATION, LLC

WHEREAS, ORD-0144-2012 authorized the Mayor to enter into a real estate contract with Reklamation, LLC for the sale of property at 960 Bricklawn Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the real estate contract has been executed by both parties and now legislation is needed to authorize the Mayor to execute the General Warranty Deed to complete the transfer of the property to Reklamation; and
WHEREAS, the land at 960 Bricklawn has been appraised at $25,000 and the City is selling this land to Reklamation for the appraisal price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute General Warranty Deed to transfer property known as 960 Bricklawn Avenue to Reklamation, LLC; said Deed attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
