WHEREAS, unusually high natural gas prices are quickly draining many of the natural gas accounts; and
WHEREAS, a supplemental is needed in order to cover these costs for the balance of the year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the the General Fund to Account No. 101.515.5480, Joint Maintenance Utilities.
Section 2. That ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the the Streets Fund to Account No. 220.330.5481, Natural Gas, Streets Facility.
Section 3. That THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the the Water Fund to Account No. 651.350.5481, Natural Gas, Water/Sewer Complex.
Section 4. That TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the the Sewer Fund to Account No. 661.360.5481, Natural Gas, Water/Sewer Complex.
Section 5. That ORD-0001-2006, passed January 2, 2006 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 6. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
