TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH HALLER & ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR REPAIR OF CITY HALL SKYLIGHTS; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $22,000.

WHEREAS, the City Hall skylights were damaged by the October 2006 hail storm; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has received proposal for the repair and recommended we proceed with Haller & Associates as they are the manufacturer of the skylights;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with HALLER & ASSOCIATES, INC., 1170 Old Henderson Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220, for repair of the City Hall skylights; Proposal attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($22,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.141.5596, Capital Projects/Improvements, Lands & Buildings, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
