TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF CITY OWNED LAND WHICH IS A PORTION OF RESERVE A OF RIVERS EDGE SUBDIVISION ON OLDE RIDENOUR ROAD

WHEREAS, Christian Meeting Rooms, Inc. has submitted a proposal to the City for the purchase of a portion of Reserve A of Rivers Edge Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, Christian Meeting Rooms, Inc. have made a monetary proposal of $10,000 which is based on the average selling price for property in the neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, the City has no particular need for this property and there is a specific benefit to traffic flow for the church and the area to allow Christian Meeting Rooms, Inc. to purchase this property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement to sell property owned by the City of Gahanna known as a portion of Reserve A of Rivers Edge Subdivision attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
