TO AMEND CHAPTER 153, PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES.

WHEREAS, at the time of Charter changes voted for in November of 1996, this Council established the Parks and Recreation Board by ordinance, thereby creating Chapter 153 of the Codified Ordinances of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board has requested an expansion of this chapter at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 153, Parks and Recreation Board," is hereby amended as shown in EXHIBIT A, attached to this ordinance and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 153, Parks and Recreation Board and any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
