SUBSTITUTE LEGISLATION
Title
TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH TRICAR LTD., FOR A PORTION OF THE HUNTERS RIDGE INVESTIGATION, PHASE II; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.
Body
WHEREAS, proposal has been made and presented to Council committee for a task-by-task operation of the Hunters Ridge Investigation, Phase II; and
WHEREAS, due to the pending winter season, it is imperative that this work proceed immediately to make certain water determinations, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into agreement with TriCar Ltd. 6237 Wynford Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43016, for Hunters Ridge Investigation Phase IIA, in accordance with said proposal, dated September 17, 1998, which is attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That the amount of Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($6,450) is hereby authorized from Account No. 230.350.5447, Storm Sewer Miscellaneous, in the 1998 Appropriations
Section 3. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble herein above, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
