TO HONOR AND COMMEND JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART ON ACHIEVEMENT OF THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT

WHEREAS, JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART is a member of Troop 98 in the Tri- Creek District, Simon Kenton Council, of the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS, as his service project to become an Eagle Scout, JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART planned a landscaping project which included the planting of 25 trees to beautify and enhance the area of Cherrybottom Road and US Route 62 after a road widening project which included demolition of an old gas station; and
WHEREAS, JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART by overseeing and managing over 25 volunteers, including adults and other scouts, in this effort, demonstrated his ability to organize and lead a group of scouts; and
WHEREAS, JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART serves as an exemplary standard for the youth of our community:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, honor and commend JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART for his attainment of the rank of Eagle Scout.
Section 2. That JONATHAN MICHAEL STEWART is given heartfelt thanks for being a good citizen and is wished success in his future endeavors.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
