Title
TO GRANT A VARIANCE FROM SECTION 1143.04, SF-3 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; TO ALLOW A NON-RESIDENTIAL USE WITHIN A SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (SF-3) ZONING DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 87 S. HAMILTON ROAD.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has made application to vary Section 1143.04, SF-3 Residential Districts, of the Codified Ordinances; to allow a non-residential use within a single-family residential (SF-3) Zoning District for property located at 87 S. Hamilton Road; and
 
WHEREAS, on January 14, 2015, Planning Commission, after careful deliberation and discussion voted unanimously to recommend approval of this variance; and
 
WHEREAS, under authority of Section 1143.04(c), this variance request must be approved by Council after a recommendation is made by Planning Commission;
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
 
Section 1.  That under authority of Section 1143.04(c), this Council hereby grants variation from and exception to 1143.04 of the Codified Ordinances of Gahanna, which allows for a non-residential use within a single-family residential (SF-3) zoning district for property located at 87 S. Hamilton Road;
 
Section 2.  That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
