Title

 

TO AMEND SECTION 1169.05, FEES FOR CONDITIONAL USES, OF CHAPTER 1169, PROCEDURE FOR AUTHORIZING A CONDITIONAL USE, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

 

Body

 

WHEREAS, an increase in the number of amended plans has caused the review of this section of code; and

 

WHEREAS, no fee is currently charged and the City does incur some expense for an amended application; and

 

WHEREAS, Planning Commission has reviewed, initiated changes, and recommended said changes to City Council; and

 

WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on April 00, 1998, pursuant to notice and according to law;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That Section 1169.05, Fees for Conditional Uses, of Chapter 1169, Procedure for Authorizing a Conditional Use, is hereby amended as follows:

 

Fee to Cover Administrative Costs and Advertising.  A fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be paid to the City, for each application for a conditional use to cover the necessary administrative and advertising costs, provided however, that public parks, playgrounds and recreation areas, operated by membership organizations for the benefit of their organization and not for profit, shall not be subject to the hereinabove required fee.  THE FEE FOR AN AMENDED APPLICATION SHALL BE ONE-HALF THE COST OF THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION FEE.

 

Section 2.  That existing Section 1169.05, Fees for Conditional Uses, of   Chapter 1169, Procedure for Authorizing a Conditional Use, is hereby repealed.

 

Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
