WHEREAS, the City Engineer has been monitoring the Eastgate, Phase II, Improvement No. SA737 and ST738, and additional funding is required for this tax increment financing project; and

WHEREAS, the cost was projected and to be incurred over a two to three year period and general fund moneys were to be appropriated as needed over at least two phases;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That funding in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SIXTY DOLLARS ($15,260) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.349.5821, Capital Projects, TIF for Phase I.

Section 2.  That funding in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($538,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General  Fund to Account No. 101.349.5821, Capital Projects, TIF for Phase II.

Section 3.  That ORD-0001-2002, passed January 2, 2002, is hereby amended to reflect these supplemental appropriations.

Section 4.  That this ordinance will be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
