TO ENACT SECTION 905.04, CREATION, AND SECTION 905.05, YMCA PLACE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, OF CHAPTER 905, STREETS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

WHEREAS, The Mayor was authorized by ORD-0250-2002 to enter into a cost sharing agreement with the YMCA with a funding appropriation not to exceed $145,000 for public infrastructure improvements and the agreement was conditioned upon the administration establishing an acreage fee which serves to reimburse the City for the said encumbrance; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has proposed a new code section that would allow for the establishment of roadway improvement districts and would create the YMCA Place Roadway Improvement District specifically; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 905.04, Creation, and Section 905.05, YMCA Place Roadway Improvement District, of Chapter 905, Streets, is hereby enacted as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That Chapter 905, Streets, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna is hereby amended to reflect these new Sections.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
