TO AMEND THE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN, DATED OCTOBER 11, 2001, FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO AND ADOPTED BY ORD-0254-2001; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the Director of Emergency Management has made revisions to the adopted Emergency Operations Plan, which is a statement of policy regarding emergency management and also assigns tasks and responsibilities to city officials; and
WHEREAS, ORD-0254-2001, adopting said plan made recommendation that this plan would be updated each year and kept current at all times; and
WHEREAS, it is truly imperative that the Emergency Operations Plan be amended as soon as possible , all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby amends the Emergency Operations Plan, dated October 11, 2001, said amendments attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That upon recommendation by the Director of Emergency Management and prior adoption, this plan shall be updated each year and kept current at all times.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and d0 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
