RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY WIDE FIBER DEPLOYMENT PROJECT

WHEREAS, Applied Innovation Inc. commits to provide equipment to the City of Gahanna, in a defined timeframe in exchange for the joint publicity and coordinated marketing efforts as the City deploys a city wide fiber optic project; and
WHEREAS, Applied Innovation Inc. will provide AIflex concentrators and AIflex remote units to support a two fiber Citywide network, one for the City and the second for the Gahanna Jefferson School District; and
WHEREAS, the value of the equipment, software, and technical support being provided by Applied Innovation Inc. is $138,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. The City of Gahanna commits itself to the City Wide Fiber Deployment project with a target completion date for Phase 1 as the end of 2000 and Phase 2 as the end of 2001, as outlined in the Letter of Commitment from Applied Innovation Inc., attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council.
