TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH RENT A JOHN PORTABLE SANITATION, A DIVISION OF BJ EQUIPMENT, LTD., FOR THE 2006 SEASON; FOR 2 PORTABLE RESTROOMS FOR THE GAHANNA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE

WHEREAS, portable sanitation needs have been established for the municipal golf course 2006 season; and
WHEREAS, letter proposal has been received from Rent A John and the Director of Parks & Recreation has recommended we proceed with them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with Rent A John Portable Sanitation, a division of BJ Equipment, LTD., P.O. Box 753, Columbus, Ohio, 43216 for two (2) Rent A John portable restrooms to be placed at the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course, in accordance with City specifications and proposal attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,100) was appropriated in the 2006 Appropriations to Account No. 101.433.5424, Golf Course Operations, to cover the herein costs.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
