TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO THE STATE CAPITAL GRANT FUND FOR THE ACADEMY PARK PROJECT
BODY
WHEREAS, the City received an Ohio EPA Recycle Ohio Grant to support playground surface improvements for the Academy Park Project identified as Project PK-25-08; and
WHEREAS, the grant agreement requires separate accounting for all grant-related expenditures and matching funds; and
WHEREAS, the Administration has established a separate account within the State Capital Grant Fund for the administration of the grant and related expenditures; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide the required local match and comply with grant accounting requirements, it is necessary to transfer appropriations within the Capital Improvement Fund and authorize the transfer of matching funds to the State Capital Grant Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That appropriations in the amount of One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($113,000) are hereby transferred within the Capital Improvement Fund from Account No. 325.06.550.5505 - Capital Improvements, Academy Park Project, to Account No. 325.06.550.5900 - Transfer Out.
Section 2. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to transfer One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($113,000) from the Capital Improvement Fund (3250) to the State Capital Grant Fund (3220) for the Academy Park Project and related grant match requirements.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
