WHEREAS, bids were opened July 13, 2001, and the lowest, most responsive, and responsible, bidder has been recommended by the Director of Public Service; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to award and the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with DOVE BUILDING SERVICES, 1691 CLEVELAND AVENUE, COLUMBUS, OHIO 43211, for maintenance services for the City of Gahanna, in accordance with bid and City specifications, said bid tabulations attached as

Exhibit A.

Section 2.  That funding in the amount of FIFTY TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE DOLLARS ($52,579.00) will be set aside to Account No. 101.141.5453, Cleaning Contract in the 2002 appropriations, to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
