TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE GAHANNA WOODS STATE NATURE PRESERVE.

WHEREAS, as part of the Foxwood Subdivision, the Homewood Corporation dedicated 5.438 acres of property to the City to be later dedicated to the State of Ohio as part of the Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve; and
WHEREAS, upon accepting the donation of the property we proceeded with the dedication to the State, and they have now officially accepted the property; and
WHEREAS, now it is time to amend the agreement the City has with the State by First Amendment to the Lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into First Amendment to Lease Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve for the 5.438 acres; Amendment attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
