TO ACCEPT MONIES FROM THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) FOR THE MARCH WINTER STORM WEATHER EMERGENCY; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $43,572.

WHEREAS, monies have been received from FEMA for the March winter storm weather emergency in the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council and the Gahanna Finance Department to accept these funds and supplementally appropriate to reimburse the other funds for personnel and other expenses incurred during the storm;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna do hereby accept FEMA monies for the March weather emergency.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FORTY THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS ($43,572) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the FEMA Fund to Account No. 249.215.5456, Operational Expenses.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2008, passed January 2, 2008, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
