TO ACCEPT A WARRANTY DEED FOR 0.2 ACRES OF LAND; NOW KNOWN AS MILL STREET/CARPENTER PARK OR ROCK PARK; FROM THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY.

WHEREAS, a deed of conveyance for the purchase of 0.2 acres of land from The Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County was executed on March 22, 1966; and
WHEREAS, said warranty deed was recorded on May 9, 1966 by the Franklin County Recorder's Office; and
WHEREAS, said warranty deed was never accepted by the City of Gahanna;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts the Deed of Conveyance from The Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, for park land purposes and known as Mill Carpenter Park or Rock Park, said land more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
