Title

TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH URBAN SPACES DESIGN GROUP FOR DESIGN GUIDELINES AND DEVELOPMENT POLICIES FOR THE DOWNTOWN AREAS OF GAHANNA

Body

WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to take additional preliminary steps toward the ultimate development of downtown areas of Gahanna and to facilitate public forums for comments from residents and business of the areas to be affected; and

WHEREAS, proposal has been received under date of March 25, and has been recommended by the Director of Development and by the Development Committee of Council;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with Alvin L. Groves of URBAN SPACES DESIGN GROUP, 501 Soledad, San Antonio, Texas 78205.

Section 2.  That funding was set aside in the 1998 Appropriations to Account No.101.343.5253, Development, Planning, to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
