TO HONOR AND COMMEND MARJORIE FIGLEY FOR WORK ON THE 2000 GAHANNNA HOLIDAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL

WHEREAS, MARJORIE FIGLEY, has served on the Blue Ribbon Committee for Gahanna Events, Inc., and helped in the planning and implementation of the 2000 Gahanna Holiday Lights Parade and Festival held November 25, 2000; and
WHEREAS, it was the dedication, hard work and perseverance of MARJORIE FIGLEY and other members of the Blue Ribbon Committee, that made the festival the success it was;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, do hereby honor and commend MARJORIE FIGLEY for exemplary service to the community with involvement in the Gahanna Holiday Lights Parade and Festival.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
