RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR LTIP/ISSUE 2 FUNDS FOR THE US 62 AND MORSE ROAD

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has requested that application be made for LTIP/Issue 2 funds for specific infrastructure reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the Administration submit a request for said funding; and
WHEREAS, Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission has asked for a resolution in support of this application;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to submit the project funding request to Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission for LTIP/Issue 2 funds for the US 62 and Morse Road Intersection improvements.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect and be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
