WHEREAS, in preparing another code amendment it was noted that this section contains a wrong reference to a Charter section,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Section 1501.01, Adoption, of Chapter 1501, BOCA Fire Code is hereby amended as follows:
1501.01 ADOPTION.
Pursuant to Charter Section (4.15) 4.16, there is hereby adopted by the City of Gahanna, the BOCA Basic National Fire Prevention Code/1996, tenth edition, as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., subject to amendments as provided in Section 1501.11. Three complete copies of such Code shall be kept on file in the office of the Clerk of Council for reference by interested persons.

Section 2. That existing Section 1501.01, Adoption, of Chapter 1501, BOCA Fire Code is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
