TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH EVANS, MECHWART, HAMBLETON & TILTON INC. FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR CULVERT INSPECTION, MORSE ROAD OVER AN UNNAMED STREAM, AND JAMES ROAD OVER TURKEY RUN; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $800

WHEREAS, proposal has been received for engineering services for inspection of two culverts, and has been recommended by the City Engineer;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with EVANS, MECHWART, HAMBLETON & TILTON INC., 170 Mill Street, Gahanna Ohio 43230, for engineering services for the inspection of culverts, Morse Road over an unnamed stream, and James Road over Turkey Run, in accordance with letter proposal dated July 23, 1998, attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That Eight Hundred Dollars ($800) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.145.5533, Capital Projects, Engineering, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 980001, passed January 2, 1998, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
