TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH CJI RESEARCH CORPORATION TO CONDUCT A RESIDENT SURVEY FOR THE CITY OF GAHANNA; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $3,500.

WHEREAS, the Mayor wishes to have another resident survey conducted in the City of Gahanna and has recommended we proceed with CJI Research Corporation as we have used them in the past and have been impressed with their work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with CJI RESEARCH CORPORATION, 224 East Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, to conduct a resident survey of the City of Gahanna; Letter of Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000) was set aside in the 2012 Appropriations to Account No. 101.121.5261, Office of the Mayor, Resident Survey, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the encumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.121.5261, Office of the Mayor, Resident Survey, to further cover the herein costs.
Section 4. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
