SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Transfer to General Fund

WHEREAS, funding from a DARE Grant was received in late 2006 and was not identified as to what the funds were for; and
WHEREAS, said funds were deposited in the Street and State Highway Funds under the impression the money was receipt of gas tax funds; and
WHEREAS, these funds should have been deposited into the General Fund and now need to be transferred;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS ($20,680) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Street Fund to Account No. 220.330.5930, Transfer to General Fund.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN DOLLARS ($1,677) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the State Highway Fund to Account No. 222.331.5930, Transfer to General Fund.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
