TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT FOR RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL TO PURCHASE FOR RIVER VALLEY DEVELOPMENT TO PERFORM DUE DILIGENCE CONCERNING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 133 AND 121 MILL STREET.

WHEREAS, an agreement for an option to extend through December 31, 2000 to perform due diligence with respect to a market feasibility study, for the parcels of land known as 133 and 121 Mill Street; and

 

WHEREAS, during this due diligence period, a formal development agreement would be negotiated;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

 

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with River Valley Development , 830 N. St. Marys, San Antonio, Texas 78205 for the right of first refusal to purchase for property located at 133 and 121 Mill Street, said agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.

 

Section 2.   That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
