TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A ONE YEAR SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH AUTOMATIC RENEWALS WITH SMARTBILL LTD., FOR THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE CITY'S WATER/SANITARY/STORM/REFUSE BILLS.

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Director of Public Service to enter into a one year service agreement with automatic renewals with SmartBill, Ltd., for the purpose of producing and distributing Water/Sanitary/Storm/Refuse bills; and
WHEREAS, this service has and will continue to give the City an efficient and effective way to produce bills while saving on costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a one year service agreement with automatic renewals with SmartBill, Ltd.,1050 O'Neill Drive, Hebron OH 43025, said agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That sufficient funding is available in Account No. 651.350.5265, Water, Bill Printing Service; Account No. 651.350.5402, Water, Postage; Account No. 661.360.5265, Sewer, Bill Printing Service; and Account No. 661.360.5402, Sewer, Postage; to cover the herein costs as determined by Unit Price which is described in the attached agreement.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
