TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN ELECTRIC POWER FOR CONDUIT TO BE PLACED ON THE NEW TECHCENTER BRIDGE.

WHEREAS, AEP has requested that conduits be placed on the new TechCenter bridge and has agreed to pay for the construction cost for this work; and
WHEREAS, since ODOT is managing the project it will be necessary for the City to direct the construction cost to ODOT to pay the contractor; and
WHEREAS, according to our agreement with ODOT, the City is to pay for additions to the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Reimbursement Agreement with American Electric Power, 850 TechCenter Drive, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 for conduit to be placed on the TechCenter bridge; Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
