WHEREAS, this Council has set aside funding for reserve and sick and vacation funding as necessary; and
WHEREAS, Police Officer Terry Counts has retired, and it is necessary to do the necessary transfers from this reserve account to cover this termination procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;
Section 1. That the amount of FORTY-TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($41,155) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of Reserve for Vacation and Sick Leave, to Account No. 750.135.5129, Termination Pay.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 200001, passed January 3, 2000, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and immediately upon date of signature approval by the Mayor.
