TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH

RESOURCE OHIO, FOR MONTHLY CARPET CLEANING MAINTENANCE.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to begin monthly carpet cleaning maintenance and has received letter quotes; and

WHEREAS, ReSource Ohio, who recently cleaned the carpets was low bidder and the Director of Public Service has recommended we proceed with a maintenance program with them;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with ReSource Ohio, 2571 Silver Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43211, for carpet maintenance cleaning at $195 per month for 3,000 sq. ft. area, which can be specified each month.

Section 2.  That funds were appropriated in the 2001 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
