WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department would like to start Foundations Camp as a part of our summer recreation program; and
WHEREAS, Foundations Camp would provide an opportunity for children with developmental disabilities to attend a summer day camp, while providing an atmosphere dedicated to teaching and enhancing life skills through recreation opportunities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,500) for the Foundations Camp is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Parks & Recreation Special Donation Account (Fund 227) to Account No. 227.432.5429, Recreation Special Donation, to cover the herein costs.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2003, passed January 2, 2003, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
