TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS RESEARCH INSTITUTE, INC., (ESRI) FOR SMALL MUNICIPAL AND COUNTY ENTERPRISE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR GIS SOFTWARE FOR THE YEARS 2012-2014.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue to have access to GIS software on an unlimited basis, including maintenance, and have received quote from ESRI to enter into Small Municipal and County Enterprise License Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Technology has recommended that we proceed to enter into this license agreement with ESRI;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS RESEARCH INSTITUTE, INC., 1085 Beecher Crossing North, Suite A, Gahanna, OH 43230, for Small Municipal and County Enterprise License Agreement for GIS software, for the years 2012 through 2014; Proposal attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($17,875) was set aside in the 2012 Appropriations to Account No. 101.355.5251, GIS, Tech Maintenance, to cover a portion of the herein costs.
Section 3. That funding is also set aside in the 2012 Appropriations as follows:
$5,958 to Account No. 631.350.5251, Stormwater Tech Maintenance
$5,958 to Account No. 651.350.5251, Water Tech Maintenance
$5,959 to Account No. 661.360.5251, Sewer Tech Maintenance, to cover the balance of the 2012 costs
Section 4. Sufficient funds will be appropriated in 2013 & 2014 to the same accounts and at the same amount to cover the balance of this contract.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
