TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND ASEBROOK & CO. ARCHITECTS, FOR PLAN REVIEW SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City is required to have plans reviewed by an architect and is currently in contract with one consulting firm for plan review services and one individual for inspection services; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Development has recommended that we proceed with Asebrook & Co. Architects; and
WHEREAS, said contract would be for one year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Personal Services Contract with ASEBROOK & CO. ARCHITECTS, 454 East Main Street, Suite 236, Columbus, Ohio 43215, for plan review services for the City of Gahanna; contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding for this contract has been appropriated to Account No. 101.344.5246, Contract Plan Review Services, in the 2008 Appropriations.
Section 3. That this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
